On 01 September 2026, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology issued an announcement on the status of the 24th typhoon named Krovanh.

A low-pressure system in the Western Pacific Ocean has developed into the 24th typhoon, Krovanh (T2624). Together with the 18th typhoon, Saudel (T2618), it is influencing the southwest monsoon wind regime blowing over the Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea, South China Sea, Mekong River Basin, Cambodian Sea, and Cambodia.
